This Pair of Southwest Speed Small Block Chevy Chassis Headers are for use with Unisteer rack & pinion. They allow the steering shaft to pass through on the driver's side and are a shorty style for maximum ground clearance. Features 1-5/8" primaries with 3" collectors. 1-5/8" primaries to the 3" Collectors.

3" to 2 1/4" reducers. Fits 262-400 S/B Chevy V8s with straight plug heads. Great for Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Street Rods, & any Nostalgia Rod.

Shorty style offers maximum ground clearance. Enhances the look of any rod. Includes gaskets and mounting hardware. Triple Process Chrome Plated to resist early corrosion.

Fits Small Block Chevy 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 400 CID Engines with standard exhaust pattern. Finish: Triple Process Chrome Plated. Tube Outside Diameter: 1 5/8. Reducers: 3 to 2 1/4.

Due to a revised chroming process brought on by recent EPA regulations and high labor costs, today's chrome is not the quality of days gone by. Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. We see very few headers that do not change color once exhaust temperatures are achieved. Use care when trial fitting headers.

Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. Will not fit 168 tooth flywheels or kickout aftermarket starters. Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory Z bar clutch linkage.
