New Southwest Speed Long Tube Headers, 265-400, Chrome Plated, 1973-1987 Sbc

1-5/8" primaries to 3" Collectors. Includes a pair of 3" to 2-1/2" reducers. D-Port cylinder heads including ZZ4 crate engines. Most angle plug heads including factory Chevy "Bow-Tie" heads.

Includes gaskets and mounting hardware. Header Tube Type: Full Length. Finish: Triple Process Chrome Plated.

Tube Outside Diameter: 1 5/8. Reducers: 3" to 2 1/2". May require header reducer with O2 fitting.

1987 and later vehicles equipped with short compressor will re-use the original bracket. Due to a revised chroming process brought on by recent EPA regulations and high labor costs, today's chrome is not the quality of days gone by. Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. We see very few headers that do not change color once exhaust temperatures are achieved.
