This bracket mounts the alternator to the front of the head on the driver's side, For Small Block Chevy with short water pump and heads with accessory bolt holes, Premium steel construction ensures worry free service, Stainless steel hardware is included to simplify installation, Choose from raw, black powder coated, or chrome finish. 100 Series Stock SBC Alternator Bracket, Chrome.

Attaches to accessory bolt holes on front face of head. Available in black, chrome, or raw finish.

For Small Block Chevy with short water pump. Fabricated from mild steel, with all stainless fasteners.

This bracket mounts to the alternator to the front of the head on the driver's side of a Small Block Chevy using existing drilled/tapped holes in the head. It lines up with pulleys and belts for the short water pump.

This alternator bracket uses the first groove (groove closest to the balancer) and the A/C unit uses the second groove. If power steering is used with bracket, the power steering belt makes use of the third groove (farthest foward groove) on a three groove pulley our pulley. By Ron on February 12, 2022. I had to open the holes slightly in the rear bracket to align the 3 holes on my vortec head.

By Fargo on January 13, 2022. This Bracket is well made and looks amazing in the black powder coating don't need to paint it... One less thing for me to do.

Fit into the engine holes as it should and was SO easy to adjust the Alternator position. Sits the alternator nice and high on the engine to clear my narrow engine bay. Took me about 8mins to install the bracket, alternator and adjust the tension.

It actually took me more time to remove the protective tape on the Bolt threads than to install. Black Powder coating is really nice.

The bracket was what i needed for my alternator to fit. By John on April 25, 2021. I installed this on a 4.3 gm with vortec heads.
