200 Series SBC A/C Unit/Alternator Bracket Set. Fabricated from mild steel with stainless/chrome Allen head hardware. Simple installation; all brackets are pre-assembled.

Drilling or tapping is not required. Accepts Sanden or Sankyo 508 A/C unit and stock GM alternators and power steering pumps. For use with 55-68 short-style water pumps only.

Not for use with Vortec cylinder heads. Works with most dual quad and 3x2 low rise intakes. Bracket mounts to the water pump manifold. No holes in the head needed to mount this bracket set. Set includes the A/C and alternator brackets.

Alternator bracket uses the first groove (groove closest to the balancer) and the A/C unit uses the second groove. If power steering is used with bracket, the power steering belt makes use of the third groove (farthest foward groove) on a three groove pulley (our pulley). This 200 Series bracket will work with the 1970 & later Non'Vortec/Fast Burn' type cylinder heads. "Mounted" length/width are maximum distances. Yes, I would recommend this product to everyone.

By Stan's Stude on January 08, 2021. I haven't gotten to use them yet! I first installed a Chev 1500 chassie, with a rebuilt 350 and 4 speed automatic trans. The body has been prepped and primer/sealer applied! Plan to paint next month with 2018 toyota pearl inferno.

Which is a midium orange pearl! I hope to have in on the road by late fall! Best bracket since sliced bread. By davy go fast on May 21, 2020. I would highly recommend this bracket combo.

Be sure to order the 45 degree intake heater hose nipple, works perfect. Part that holds the alternator had to be ground.
