New Southwest Speed Long Tube Headers, 265-400, Chrome Plated, 1973-1987 Sbc

1-5/8" primaries to 3" Collectors. Includes a pair of 3" to 2-1/2" reducers.

D-Port cylinder heads including ZZ4 crate engines. Most angle plug heads including factory Chevy "Bow-Tie" heads.

Includes gaskets and mounting hardware. Triple Process Chrome Plated to resist early corrosion. Header Tube Type: Full Length. Finish: Triple Process Chrome Plated. Tube Outside Diameter: 1 5/8.

Reducers: 3" to 2 1/2". May require header reducer with O2 fitting. 1987 and later vehicles equipped with short compressor will re-use the original bracket. Due to a revised chroming process brought on by recent EPA regulations and high labor costs, today's chrome is not the quality of days gone by.

Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. We see very few headers that do not change color once exhaust temperatures are achieved. Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering.
