SBC Chevy SB Chrome Saginaw Power Steering Pump with Bracket & Pulley Kit
SBC Chevy SB Chrome Saginaw Power Steering Pump w/ Bracket & Pulley Kit. Upgrade your Small block Chevy with our chrome power steering pump kit. The kit includes new Chrome Key Way power steering pump, chrome pump brackets and chrome steel pulley. The included chrome Saginaw power steering pumps comes with a new reservoir, billet cap, chrome hardware, and new dipstick. Desirable early style 1965-79 pump with threaded and 5/8 keyed shaft for easy pulley installation.
Pump has a 3/8" hose barb for return line and a female 5/8"-18 inverted flare fitting for the high pressure outlet. Bracket mounts to the lower left front of the block using the two lower bolt holes located by the timing chain cover (the old front motor mount holes).
The adjusting arm mounts to the lower water pump hole. Bracket will fit a wide range of applications due to its two mounting positions: LOW and HIGH. A different bracket must be used if your alternator is mounted over the exhaust manifold towards the outside of the head. Due to alternator belt interference problem with base and adjusting arm. Equivalent to original pump found on 1970-74 Camaro/Firebird, 1970-74 Nova, 1970-74 Chevelle/Malibu, 1970-74 Monte Carlo and many more. 1975 and later vehicles will require a new hose to go from a metric o-ring style to the 5/8 Inverted flare. 1x Chrome Saginaw "Key-Way" Power Steering Pump. 1x Chrome Pump Bracket Kit. 1x Chrome Steel Single Groove Pump Pulley.1x Chrome Power Steering Pump Cap.
