The collectors exit toward the rear of the engine compartment and are well above the under carriage of the vehicle, eliminating the chance of the collectors contacting the ground. Supplied with 1 5/8" tubes with 3" collectors, and comes complete with header bolts and gaskets and reducer bolts and gaskets. 300" Ground parallel flanges on the cylinder head surface, and includes a pair of 3" to 2 1/2 reducers to complete the installation. These Headers will fit angle plug or straight plug head applications including factory Chevrolet "Bow-Tie" Heads. 1-5/8" primaries to the 3" Collectors. Includes a pair of 3" to 2-1/2" reducers to connect exhaust under the vehicle. Great for some Hot Rods, Rat Rods & Street Rods. Great Choice to replace cast iron exhaust manifolds. Enhances the looks of any rod. Includes gaskets and mounting hardware.

Triple Process Chrome Plated to resist early corrosion. Header Tube Type: Long Tube. Finish: Triple Process Chrome Plated. Tube Outside Diameter: 1 5/8.

Reducer: 3" to 2 1/2". Fits all Small Block Chevrolet V-8 engines with standard exhaust pattern. Fits D-Port cylinder heads including ZZ4 crate engines. Fits 262, 267, 265, 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 400 CID Engines. Will fit most angle plug heads including factory Chevrolet "Bow-Tie" heads. Requires removal or modification of locking steering columns if equipped. 1979 and later vehicles with short compressor will continue to use the stock bracket. Will fit Detroit Speed & Engineering front subframes with rack and pinion steering. Due to a revised chroming process brought on by recent EPA regulations and high labor costs, today's chrome is not the quality of days gone by. Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion.

We see very few headers that do not change color once exhaust temperatures are achieved. Use care when trial fitting headers.
